We, the undersigned, urge California government leaders to oppose policies, mandates and schemes that impair our state’s economic recovery and our personal freedoms while providing no meaningful benefit for the environment.

We agree with thousands of scientists that there is no convincing evidence for human-induced, catastrophic global warming. Regulations, fees and taxes seeking to address this exaggerated threat will cause businesses to flee, increase the price of goods and services and diminish the unique quality of California life.

Green job and energy projects should be put on hold until California achieves balanced budgets and holds unemployment below 5% for five years.

We support policies that promote reliable and affordable energy, the development of all California’s energy resources and realistic, legitimate environmental progress.
